The Grand Foyer will be your guests' first view of the inside of the mansion. A butler will greet them at the front door and direct them to the coat check area, bar area, etc. If you are having a dinner with assigned seating, there will be a small table for your placecards under Mrs. Astor's portrait. A staff person will assist your guests in finding their cards. Your guests can make use of the foyer area for mingling during the cocktail hour.

The Foyer also boasts a wonderful grand staircase, which is a perfect focal point for processions, entrances, informal toasts and announcements.
